Natives of the area, Mary and Smoky live in Dillard, GA.  Mary was reared in Franklin,  and Smoky, in Scaly Mountain, NC.   After graduating college from Western Carolina University, Cullowhee, NC,  Mary lived several years in both Atlanta, GA, and Asheville, NC.  Smoky returned to the area after serving 14 years in the United States Navy.  He began his real estate career in 1973.  He has owned and operated brokerages, and he has over 35 years in the real estate industry. He enjoys making music.  He  both picks the guitar and banjo, and he sings country and bluegrass music.  He is adeptly skilled in computer electronics.
